New Season ~ Time Change

Fall is almost here. Sunday, November 5 is time change and we all (most of us) know we struggle to adjust to this new season. Some find it easier while others have a more difficult time. For me it's like losing part of my morning and coming home in more dark. I'll adjust, I always do.

Today as I type it's raining outside. The rain washes away all the gunk of the day, the week and the month. The longer it rains the more I feel it washes away. We determine how yucky it could be or could of been.

Fall let's go of the things that no longer serve us and get us ready for the new year. I guess we can see this as letting go in more ways then one.

This season I sense a lot of letting go.

Sometimes we have to let go of the old to bring in the new. Like new leaves in the spring time. The tired sun drenched leaves of this past summer that have shaded us and now it's time for them to take a break. Where can you start over? What can we let go, like the leaves in order for us to bring in new? Are we willing to let the new in? New can mean change. Are we ready to change?

The rain can help the leaves fall off of the trees. More change, more shedding of our old self. Like layers of an onion we can peel away and find our true self under it all.

Sometimes this gives us a chance to try new things, new challenges and make new choices in life. But are we ready?

We don't know until we take that leap of faith or trust within us or the Universe. Faith another word of mystery. Or is it?

We can be so lucky as to have a group of people around us as we transition into something new or preparing for it? Our support team can consist of one or many. It doesn't matter how many but they help you along your path. After all, we are communal in nature. Very few of us are complete loners. We need each other to survive in some way shape or form.

Some supporters you find along your path and they jump on board, others have been with you for a long time. Either way, it's your tribe, your group.

As layers start to fall away from us like leaves on a tree, what is under all of those layers? What could possibly be revealed?

I like the rain.

I like fall.

I like the possibility of something new.

I like change.

I like....who I can become.

Namaste
