Authentic

Urban Dictionary: posers

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=posers

A poser is someone who tries to fit into a profile they aren't.

People who try to give off the impression that they are one thing when they are really another.

~~ ~~ ~~

We have all tried to be something we are not at one time or another.

We might wanted to have impress someone, we might have wanted a certain job or appear a certain way. What about those who pretend to be someone else in an online situation?

Sometimes there is someone who is out there pretending to be someone they are not online.

The cyber world can be a very rewarding place but also a place for predator's aka posers.

In life we can have situations in which the person we are with is not who we think they are.

We begin a relationship with them and it turns out not only our heart has been played with but our trust has been compromised.

We can not give up.

We want to, we want to move past it all as if it never happened, life says we must learn from out mistakes and forge forward.

We never want to remain stuck or stagnant in life.

Life is ever changing with giving us the chance to make the changes to move ahead.

Cyber attacks from strangers, hacking into our personal/business lives leaving no stone unturned.

We find out only then how secure our online lives really are.

It's scary to find out someone far away has been looking at our personal information.

Yet we still need to trust and move ahead making whatever we are doing more secure and finding new avenues to protect what we worked hard for.

Have we invited in someone or something we shouldn't have?

Do we ever get those: " I knew" I shouldn't have opened that email to "I knew" I shouldn't have gone on another date or furthered the relationship with that person?

Being authentic means coming from a real place within. It is when our actions and words are congruent with our beliefs and values. It is being ourselves, not an imitation of what we think we should be or have been told we should be. There is no “should” in authentic.

~Diane Mottl

We know.

But we don't act on it.

We dismiss it because we give excuses on something we know/knew.

Intuition.

We can't stop living ~ we learn and move ahead.

Forgive where you can, don't hold grudges and keep our hearts open to new possibilities.

We learn to keep our self safe online more then ever, no need to shut down the computer or give it away. We learn to secure what we have and figure out how to make everything work better.

Life is ever changing.

Don't miss out on learning.

Live authentically and trying hard to be who we are not acting like anyone else but our Self.
