"She just wants to be beautiful She goes unnoticed, she knows no limits, She craves attention, she praises an image, She prays to be sculpted by the sculptor Oh she don't see the light that's shining Deeper than the eyes can find it Maybe we have made her blind So she tries to cover up her pain, and cut her woes away 'Cause covergirls don't cry after their face is made"
Everyone, not only women wonder about their appearance.
We encourage others to accept our Self as we are.
We encourage each other at the gym (in most fitness arena's), work and yet we inside can feel a little less than.
What is beautiful to one is not beautiful to another.
We see things in a different perspective when it comes to our Self.
We should encourage others to find beauty in everything including when we look in our own mirror.
Most of you know, I had skin cancer.
I have a lovely scar on the back of my right arm.
I am healing.
Inside and out.
It is a journey.
As it heals - it does not look 'normal' right now.
It will take some time to find the beauty in my scar.
Something so minor, you wouldn't think could have an effect on you, but it can …..if you let it.
I let it.
I am a work on progress.
In time, this will all be in a distant past and I can move forward even more.
Women & Men.....we are ALL beautiful
In our own each wonderful way.
